Serious Amateur – Learn to use your DSLR
DSLR 1 £99
2 Hour Workshop
Perfect for beginners
Basic camera settings; manual settings, ISO, Shutter Speed, Aperture, white balance, lenses. How they relate to each other and why. This will involve a reasonable bit of theory, but interspersed with an equal amount of practical work to help develop and consolidate your understanding. Practical work will be based around photographing our model and seeing how different camera settings affect the final image.

5½ Hour Workshop*
Novice level workshop, includes basic editing
The two hour session above….plus a 2½ hour, introduction to photoshop in the afternoon….giving you the knowledge and skills needed to present your images
DSLR 3 £149
3 Hour Workshop
Comprehensive introduction
As DSLR1, plus shooting in RAW, additional practice including depth of field, use of Flash, Exposure Compensation, Metering and Auto Focus options..
DSLR 4 £219
6½ Hourworkshop*
Our most popular Workshop – Gives you everything you need to start taking and editing great images.
The three hour session outlined in DSLR3 and supported with a basic, 2½ hour, introduction to photoshop in the afternoon….giving you the knowledge and skills needed to present your images and have a basic workflow.
*A light lunch is also included in the price of the day.

Sessions are delivered on a one to one basis and will be tailored to meet your experience and knowledge. Each session will focus on areas that you, as the ‘student’, wish to concentrate on.
Our models, Kirsten and Charlotte, have a wealth of experience and will support you though your shoot. They also have unlimited patience……so you can take your time whilst learning.

Mike is a very experienced trainer and photographer, able to develop your skills and help you get the best from your shoots. I am fully qualified and hold an honours degree in Professional Training and Development backed up with 30 years experience, including work with local colleges and Leeds Met University.
